Its purpose is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>to organise cultural and musical events<\/li><li>to promote and perpetuate the memory and work of Jean Langlais<\/li><li>to develop musical culture, especially among the young<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Association organised a second, larger festival in 2006 and it has now become an annual event, uniting French and international singers and musicians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Honorary members<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Marie-Louise LANGLAIS<\/strong>, widow of Jean Langlais<br><strong>Claude LANGLAIS<\/strong>, son of Jean Langlais<br><strong>Caroline LANGLAIS<\/strong>, daughter of Jean Langlais<br><strong>Malcolm ARCHER<\/strong>, British composer, organist and choral director<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Association of the Friends of Jean Langlais was created on 9th December, 2005 after the first Langlais Festival which took place in the summer of 2005.
